RESPITE CARE

Respite Care is foster care, but in smaller time intervals. In order to become a respite care provider, a person must become fully licensed in foster care. Respite Care is usually for weekends, or weeks at a time and gives the full-time foster parents time on their own and also time for the child in foster care to spend a few days away.

Respite Care is a great opportunity for a person or a family to make a difference in a child's life, to get involved. Respite Care is needed on an ongoing basis.
